James is an actor and content creator from Texas, now living in Los Angeles. Formerly based in NYC, he performed improv and sketch comedy at Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre NY, The PIT and Magnet Theater for over 10 years.

James has recently gained a following as a Motorsport content creator, having amassed 139K followers on Instagram and 97K followers on TikTok. His videos have been featured on accounts for the NTT INDYCAR Series, World Endurance Championship (WEC), ESPN F1, ESPNW, Sports Illustrated F1, and Motorsport.com. Formerly, James was a content creator for the Sports Illustrated Formula 1 channels, for Formula E Season 10 and for the 2025 NTT INDYCAR Series season. He is currently co-host of the WTF1 Podcast with Luke Francis.

As an actor, he has appeared on Matlock, 9-1-1, Mythic Quest, American Horror Stories, Reasonable Doubt, 13 Reasons Why, 30 Rock, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, Full Frontal with Samantha Bee, and in the film Freaky Tales. James' writing credits include the Audible Original Center of the YOUniverse starring Tituss Burgess and Jane Krakowski (2023), Crypto Boyz (2019, with UCB Comedy and Nerdist), Tailgating With (2017, with Broadway Video), the web series Trump Bros (2016-2017), as well as the New York Television Festival pilots The Other Kennedys (2015) and Classless (2013). From 2018-2021, he was a spokesperson in a national campaign for Spectrum and Spectrum Mobile. He currently works as a brand social content creator for SoFi.
